Goldie Cosgrove is the moment a lifelong dream finally steps into the light.

Born in the sunburnt heart of rural Queensland, she grew up in a fifth-generation farming family on the Darling Downs.

Her childhood was shaped by hard work, horses and cattle, open paddocks, big personalities and the unmistakable spirit of rural Australia. A world full of characters, hard laughs and harder lessons.

Resilience is a part of every day, but so were the stories.
The larrikins of the bush.
Humour in hardship.

The magic of wide open skies and the way music echoed through timber homesteads and carries across the plains. By six years old she was already writing songs and performing for anyone who would listen, drawing inspiration from farm life long before she understood how deeply it was shaping her. She learned early that the land fuelled her creativity. Looking back now, it’s clear how much it also shaped her character.

The land taught her strength.
It taught her humility.
It taught her how to endure.

But it also taught her how quickly life can change.

The road to becoming an artist is rarely straight. Life brings loss, grief and hard seasons. The kind of challenges that rearrange your entire life and perspective. The kind that either break you or make you stronger.

Seasons that can feel heavier than the wide Queensland sky itself.

Her roots run deep in Queensland dirt, but her spirit has always been restless. At seventeen she left home chasing the pull of the unfamiliar, travelling across the world from Canadian ranchlands beneath vast snowy peaks, to windswept coastlines and long cross-country roads where songs continued to take shape.

For years, EL Cosgrove was the girl from rural Queensland chasing a dream, carrying a burning knowing that there was always something more waiting on the horizon.

Goldie Cosgrove is what happened when she stopped chasing it and became it.

Goldie isn’t just a stage name.

She is the highest artistic self of EL Cosgrove.
The heroine of the story.

The version of the artist who walked through heartbreak, setbacks, doubt, grief and every hardship life threw her way, and came out the other side with something brighter, bolder and undeniable.

Goldie rises from the ashes of everything that tried to quiet the dream.

And what rises is powerful.

Bold. Radiant. Unmistakably herself. A Leo woman with a golden presence. Equal parts fire and softness.

Her sound blends gritty country roots with the freedom of folk storytelling. Songs that feel like long desert roads and ocean salt air.

Music that is raw yet cinematic. Bohemian yet unmistakably country.

It is a complete creative world.

A visual identity of white and gold, light rising from the dust. Strength wrapped in softness. Something refined emerging from something raw. A rural sunset meeting the ocean tide.

Every element is intentional. From the sound of the records to the photography, film, artwork and stage presence, each piece forms part of a larger story unfolding.

A body of work that tells the story of a woman who came from the country, carried the weight of heartbreak and grief, and chose to turn it into art.

The music captures stories from the road, from the spaces between heartbreak and healing, and from the quiet courage it takes to keep following a calling that refuses to disappear.

Goldie Cosgrove represents the moment when the dream stops being fragile.

When it becomes inevitable.

She is the bohemian outlaw poet of modern country - folk.
The cross-country storyteller.
The dreamer with dust on her boots and fire in her voice.

And this is only the beginning.

The girl from rural Queensland who turned grit into gold.
